Hideyuki Saya, Ph.D.

Hideyuki Saya, Ph.D.Dr. Saya has been leading the Oncology Innovation Center at Fujita Health University.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Medicine from Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in 1987. After completing his postdoctoral research at UCSF, he became an Assistant Professor of Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1988. From 1994 to 2006, he served as a Professor of Oncology at Kumamoto University School of Medicine. In 2007, he joined Keio University School of Medicine as a Professor and became Professor Emeritus in 2022. Dr. Saya is dedicated to overcoming refractory cancers through fundamental research and its clinical applications.
